Original Concepts Design, Inc., provides "Top-down" assembly design. We create the first component starting in the assembly environment and use all relative geometry to define the subsequent components. This gives us the confidence your parts will fit together without incident. For example, when we are designing a device which has a PCB board and a housing or casing around it, we would want the PCB to have a specific clearance around it from the casing, so that when the PCB needs to shrink or grow to accommodate additional components, the case will automatically change in size. When the case and/or the PCB changes the 2D Prints are also parametrically updated. Throughout this assembly process we are consistently checking for precise fit, interferences and functionality of all the assembled components to bring your project to market faster, better, and with less iterations THE FIRST TIME.
