  The mold design pictured above is one of two 2x4 stack molds designed for an outdoor yard component.  This tool is approximately 42 x 66" tall with a stack height of over 39" and weighs over 12 tons.   These tools were designed completely in solids using our state of the art SolidWorks software and the background experience of actually building molds.  This unique combination of talents continually proves to be a catalyst to our success.

We also have the experience to design injection mold tool designs with cad solids cavity sets for conventional tooling or the rapid growing process. These "grown" cavity sets can be produced in weeks or even days compared to conventional methods. Not all products are suited for this process, contact us for a further evaluation. We can supply all the necessary information for seamlessly accurate production of your tooling from complete solid model parts, cavity & core solid files to 2-D prints. Surface files of the modeled cavity sets are then exported to you, or your vendor's specific CAM package.

Cabity/Core Solids

We utilize the 3-D models to parametrically subtract your parts shape from a 3-D modeled cavity set . Changes to your parts are automatically reflected in the 3-D model of the cavity block.

This parametrically linked process carries on through the 2-D prints as well, which are usually required by the tool shops for mold building.

The use of your 3-D model does not stop there, the surface files are generated from the cavity sets and used to generate CNC tool paths
