Field testing should be done
at every opportunity possible. Try to utilize the prototype per the previous
step in as many situations that apply to your product. If you have had the computer
analysis portion done on your product, especially the thermal, stress, buckling
etc., these simulations are very accurate and may, but not always, substitute
for testing at this stage. It is recommended, however, to never go straight
to market with a product once it is in production until it is thoroughly tested
in a real world environment.
