FEA Product analysis comes in a wide variety of shapes and conditions. We will attempt to explain what this process is and how it can and will be a cost effective means of testing your product without numerous expensive prototypes being destroyed in the process. We would still recommend having a prototype of your product, but the one you do get will be a structurally sound final product.
FEA, or finite element analysis, is a method for simulating how an object will perform in service. A virtual object or model is constructed in the computer. Simulated loads and boundary conditions are applied to this model. These might be forces, pressures, temperatures, voltages, and a wide variety of other stimuli. FEA software will solve for the response of the object to its environment mathematically. The software uses the principle of "Divide and Rule" to break up this seemingly impossible problem into a solvable one. Solving complex calculations that would be impossible by hand, FEA can provide the engineer with deep insights to the behavior of objects. Many of these insights cannot be gained any other way.
